Neighbour Strapping.

You have been treated with neighbour strapping. You have had a thorough examination and are now considered fit to be discharged. The following instructions will aid your recovery.

Chinese (Traditional)

The uninjured digit is acting as a splint.
Elevate the injured limb to help prevent swelling.
Exercise the fingers or toes.
Do not get the strapping wet.
The strapping should remain on until review in Clinic.
If the digit becomes swollen, numb or becomes white, cold or blue, remove the strapping and then seek medical help.

Seek medical help by:

Returning to the Emergency Services
Telephoning the Emergency Services on 01202 442065 and ask for the Triage Nurse
Contacting your own GP
