You have had a neck injury. You have had a thorough examination and are now considered fit to be discharged. The following instructions will aid your recovery.
A sprain of the neck means that the muscles and ligaments have been torn or bruised – this can cause pain and stiffness of the neck from 3 days up to 3 weeks.
To help you recover as fast as possible please follow these instructions:
Lower your chin to your chest, then raise it slowly to look at the ceiling
Turn your head to look over your right shoulder, then turn it to look over your left shoulder
Gently bend your head down sideways to let your left ear, get as close as possible to your left shoulder, repeat with your right ear and shoulder
