Your injury has been treated with either splint or a brace. You have had a thorough examination and are now considered fit to be discharged.
Things to watch out for
- If you suffer from any skin condition or if your skin is easily irritated, we advise daily skin checks by removing your brace as per instructions.
- Do not wait for your skin to become red and sore, please ring the number below.
- If you experience any pain caused by your splint pressing on your limb please remove the splint and check your skin.
- If you suffer from a condition where you have reduced feeling in your limb please undertake skin checks more regularly.
- Please follow the advice given to you by your doctor or consultant.
