Emergency dental treatment can provide out of hours treatment when a patient’s clinical condition needs prompt attention by a dentist to manage / address dental pain on a temporary basis to allow them to then seek a permanent resolution from a general dentist.
The Emergency Dental Service (EDS) is an out of hours service offering emergency pain relief treatment for:
After your treatment at the EDS, if further treatment is needed the patient should return to his/her regular dentist.
For patients who do not have a regular dentist the EDS can provide information about how to obtain regular dental care.

The clinic is open for treatment/appointment at the following times:
Monday to Friday 5.30 pm–8.30 pm
Weekends and Bank Holidays 8.00 am–3.30 pm
Basingstoke: 01256 355095
Weekends and Bank Holidays 9:00 am–12:00 pm
All appointments are made strictly on a day to day basis and are subject to availability.
Patients who are registered with a dentist:
A message on your dentist’s telephone answer machine will provide information about emergency arrangements for that practice.
Patients who do not have a regular dentist:

Patients will be charged for treatment in accordance with current NHS regulations.
Exempt patients will be asked to provide proof of exemption.
