Taking us into a Green Future
MySelfCare and BOE is committed to reducing their Carbon Footprint and have joined the Chamber Low Carbon scheme and aims to be Carbon Neutral by January 2023.
How do we reduce our footprint?
Our energy supply is currently 75% renewable, 25% nuclear resulting in zero CO2 emissions. We aim to be on 100% renewable energy within 3 years.
We utilise DPD as our main courier for our physical deliveries who are a carbon neutral organisation.
Despite that powerful infrastructure, we’re proud to say our cloud-based servers are Carbon Neutral.
Our paper is manufactured directly at our Cumbria Mill, where they use FSC materials to ensure an eco-friendly and responsible product.
Lastly, we recycle all our paper and card products as well as all recyclable plastics with our physical non-recyclable waste being less than 10% of our total waste.
The remaining emissions we directly produce are being examined to find a workable solution to help the planet. Every part of our process is being looked at to see how we can improve them to reduce the direct impact our company has on the environment and the planet.
