We see approximately 100,000 patients a year in our Emergency & Paediatric Emergency department.
Our staff treat patients with genuine life-threatening emergencies including:
- a loss of consciousness
- an acute confused state and fits that are not stopping
- a persistent, severe chest pain
- breathing difficulties
- severe bleeding that cannot be stopped
- severe allergic reactions
- severe burns or scalds
- child emergency care
